Almost an year ago we played Faust.Labor at the festival in Arkhangelsk and these were the penultimate performances of AKHE in Russia. In July, we have played in Yelagin Park and left almost the entire installation-decoration in St. Petersburg for friends, since it was impossible to take it out. Now we are restoring it in parts, object by object, and we hope that by the fall we will restore it completely, with the hope of playing the performance again ( and again many times). We also hope that the cast will be able to recover, although this requires no less effort under the circumstances.
Yoann and Marie Bourgeois will perform at the Yellow Mill next weekend, and we will exhibit several kinematic objects from the Faust.Labor in the installation mode.
The extent to which our kinemats will be connected with a live performances in the interiors of the Hanging Gardens of the Mill will be appreciated by you – the audience!
